Learn how to set up Mobile Security on your mobile device.
Learn how to download, install and setup Malwarebytes Mobile Security on your iOS or Android devices.
Already a Mobile Security user, manually update to the latest version.

Verify your device is supported
Before installing the app, check if your device is compatible with the Mobile Security requirements.

Install app on your device
Go to the Apple App store, and search for Malwarebytes Mobile Security. Get the app, then tap Open.

Get started
Swipe to review the features of Mobile Security. Then tap Get Started or Already have a Subscription.

Allow notifications
Tap Allow to get real-time security updates.

Buy a subscription
Select a plan, confirm your subscription details, then complete the purchase.

Turn on Security features
On the app’s Dashboard, tap each Security feature to activate your protection. If prompted, allow the required system permissions.

Turn on VPN
To browse the internet privately and securely connect to a Malwarebytes VPN server.
Under VPN, tap Activate or Upgrade, then toggle VPN On. If prompted, follow the instructions.

You're done!
You have now activated Mobile Security on your iOS device.

Turn on Security features
On the app’s Dashboard, tap each Security feature to activate your protection. If prompted, allow the required system permissions.

Scan device
Run a scan to check your device’s apps and files for threats.
Tap Scan now to start a scan. If prompted, allow the Storage access permission. Learn more about scans and acting on scan results.

Resolve security issues detected
If the scan has found any issues, at the top of the Dashboard, tap the Issue(s) found. Review each item and click their button to take the recommended action.

Turn on VPN
To browse the internet privately and securely connect to a Malwarebytes VPN server.
Under VPN, toggle VPN On or tap Upgrade. If prompted, follow the instructions.

You're done!
You have now activated Mobile Security on your device.
