Manually block website ads with Browser Guard

Browser Guard automatically blocks ads and trackers while using Chrome, Firefox, and Edge browsers. If you see a website ad that was not blocked, you can block it manually by adding it to the Browser Guard Block list.

Stop ads by adding items to the Block list

1. On a web page, hover over the ad and right-click to display the context menu.
2. In the context menu, select Malwarebytes Browser Guard, then click Block this item.

View your blocked items

1. Open the Browser Guard extension.
2. Click the more options icon , then click Blocked items.
3. The website address for the items you blocked display. 

Allow ads by deleting items from the Block list

To delete all items in the Block list:

1. Open the Browser Guard extension.
2. Click the menu icon , then click Blocked items.
3. On the Blocked items table, click the menu icon in the list header banner.
4. Click Delete all items.
5. In the confirmation window, click Yes, delete.

To delete a single item from the block list:

1. Open the Browser Guard extension.
2. Click the menu icon , then click Blocked items.
3. Click the menu icon  , next to the the website you want to remove from the Blocked items list. 
4. Click Delete item.
5. In the confirmation window, click Yes, delete.
