Browser Guard automatically blocks ads and trackers while using Chrome, Firefox, and Edge browsers. If you see a website ad that was not blocked, you can block it manually by adding it to the Browser Guard Block list.
Stop ads by adding items to the Block list
- On a web page, hover over the ad and right-click to display the context menu.
- In the context menu, select Malwarebytes Browser Guard, then click Block this item.
View your blocked items
- Open the Browser Guard extension.
- Click the more options icon , then click Blocked items.
- The website address for the items you blocked display.
Allow ads by deleting items from the Block list
To delete all items in the Block list:
- Open the Browser Guard extension.
- Click the menu icon , then click Blocked items.
- On the Blocked items table, click the menu icon in the list header banner.
- Click Delete all items.
- In the confirmation window, click Yes, delete.
To delete a single item from the block list:
- Open the Browser Guard extension.
- Click the menu icon , then click Blocked items.
- Click the menu icon , next to the the website you want to remove from the Blocked items list.
- Click Delete item.
- In the confirmation window, click Yes, delete.
