If you have an open support ticket, our Support team might ask you to update to a beta version to help fix your issue. Before turning on beta updates, keep the following in mind:
- Software companies often release beta software to fix bugs quickly and to introduce new features.
- Beta software is still being tested and may have some bugs or issues.
- We strongly recommend that you back up all of your data before using beta software from any source.
- Beta software is provided as is and has no warranties.
Enable beta updates for your device
By default, the beta updates setting is turned off. Follow the steps below to turn on beta updates for your Windows or macOS device:
- Open the app.
- Click Settings
in the sidebar.
- On the General settings page, scroll down to the Beta updates (Windows) or Beta application updates (macOS) setting.
- Toggle on Beta updates or Beta application updates.
- In the pop-up window, click Enable Beta Application Updates (Windows) or Enable Beta (macOS).
