We recommend you set up your account so you can easily view and manage your subscriptions, licenses, and billing details. Once you complete the setup, you'll have the ability to update your account settings, such as your name, email address, and password.
Activate your account profile
When you purchase a subscription from our online store, an account is automatically linked to the email address you used to make the purchase. To activate your account:
- Find the invitation email we sent you. Search your inbox or spam/junk folder for the email with the subject Setup your Malwarebytes Account.
- Open your account invitation email and click Create my account. The Set up account form populates the Email field with your email address.
- Enter a password.
- Re-enter the password to confirm.
- Check I'm not a robot.
- Click Sign in.
If you cannot find your invitation email, contact Support.
Sign up for an account
If you purchased your license key from a retail store or another online retailer, you can manually sign up for an account:
- Go to the Malwarebytes account page.
- Click Sign up.
- Enter your email address.
- Enter your first and last name.
- Enter a password.
- Re-enter the password to confirm.
- Check I'm not a robot.
- Click Create Account.
- Note: If your email is already registered to an account, the message User is already registered will display at the top of the Sign up box. Try resetting your password or contacting Support.
- Once you've created an account, you can add your license key to your profile. For more information, see Add a license key to your account.
