If a file or app appears on the Whitelist, it is considered safe only because you chose Ignore Always for the detection after a scan. Files and apps can only be added to the Whitelist on the Scan results screen on your Android or Chromebook device. View excluded items in your Whitelist
- In Malwarebytes, tap the Menu icon in the top-left corner of the screen.
- Tap Scanner.
- Tap the Whitelist icon in the top-right of the screen.
If you added a file or app to the Whitelist and later decide that you don't want to exclude it from scans, check the box next to the file and tap Remove from whitelist. It will be removed immediately. To remove all files and apps from the Whitelist, tap Select all at the top-right of the Whitelist screen, then tap Remove from whitelist.
Once a file has been added to the Whitelist, it remains there until you remove it, or if Malwarebytes determines that the file has changed. This may be because it's signature has changed, or because the file has been updated.
