The Support Tool troubleshoots and repairs issues with Desktop Security. If you're experiencing a technical issue with the app, you can use the Support Tool to repair the app. The Repair option removes and reinstalls the app from a device while saving your configurations and activation key.
- Download the Support Tool.
- In the Downloads folder, open the mb-support-x.x.x.xxx.exe file.
- In the User Account Control pop-up window, click Yes to continue the installation.

Microsoft .NET 4.0 Framework is required to run the Support Tool. If you do not have the .NET 4.0 Framework, you will receive this error:
- In the pop-up window, click OK to open Microsoft's download page and download the latest update.

- In the Software License Agreement pop-up window, check the box () next to Accept License Agreement.
- Click Next to complete the installation, and the Support Tool automatically opens.
- On the Dashboard, click I don't have an open support ticket.
- In the next window, choose the security app.
- Click Repair.
- Select the option tile that best describes your issue.
- On the next window, enter additional details of the issue in the Description of issue box.
- Click Continue. This begins the repair process, which can last for a few minutes.
- In the Repair pop-up window, click OK. This automatically restarts your computer and begins running the installer for the app.
- Click Install, and follow the installer prompts to complete the installation. A confirmation appears indicating you have successfully repaired the app and restored all previous settings.
