You can share subscriptions with family and friends from your account to add another user if you have space to activate more devices. Your account will tell you how many spaces, known as Available devices, your subscription has left. You can share your subscription if you have at least one available device.
You need an account to share your subscription. If you do not have an account, read Create your Malwarebytes Account to get started.
Send an email invitation to share a subscription
Follow these steps to send an email invitation to a friend or family member so they can share in your subscription.
- Sign in to your account.
- On the Overview page, click the Activate section.
- In the drop down, click Share entire subscription. A pop-up appears.
- In the pop-up, enter the email of the recipient.
- Click Share. An invitation email is sent to the recipient.
- Click OK in the confirmation window.

Share an Identity Theft Protection subscription
If you have a subscription that includes Identity Theft Protection for families, you can send an email invitation to a family member so they can be protected.
- Sign in to your account.
- Click the Identity Protection
in the sidebar.
- Under Manage your digital identity, click Share. A pop-up appears.
- In the pop-up, enter the recipient's email and date of birth.
- Click Share. An invitation email is sent to the recipient.
- Click OK in the confirmation window.
Resend an email invitation to share your subscription
Follow these steps to resend an email invitation to a friend or family member if they have lost or deleted their email invite. If the email invitation was rejected by your friend or family member, you cannot resend the invitation.
- Sign in to your account.
- Click Subscriptions
in the sidebar to go to the Subscriptions page.
- On the Subscriptions page, click the three dots
next to the subscription you shared.
- Click Manage devices.
- Click Shared devices to see your invitation.
- Click the three dots
next to your invitation.
- Click Resend invitation.
How to un-share an email invitation
Follow these steps if you want to un-share an invitation you sent. If the email invitation has been claimed by the recipient, you cannot un-share the invitation. Instead, contact support for help revoking a shared license.
- Sign in to your account.
- Click Subscriptions
in the sidebar to go to the Subscriptions page.
- On the Subscriptions page, click the three dots
next to the subscription you shared.
- Click Manage devices.
- Click Shared devices to see your invitation.
- Click the three dots
next to your invitation.
- Click Delete invitation.
- Click Delete to confirm your choice.
