Activate Premium features on Malwarebytes for ChromeOS v3

Your Malwarebytes subscription allows you to activate Premium features such as Real-Time Protection, additional Scan modes and automatic updates.

To activate your subscription, install Malwarebytes Mobile Security version 3 on your Chromebook device. For installation instructions, see Download and install Malwarebytes on Chromebook devices. 

There are two ways to activate your subscription.

Activate using My Account

To use this method, you need to have an active Malwarebytes account. If you haven't set up your My Account login, see Create and manage your Malwarebytes Account.

1. Open the Malwarebytes app on your Chromebook device.
2. In the upper-left corner of your screen, tap the Menu  icon.
3. Tap Settings.
4. Tap Already have a subscription.
5. Enter your My Account credentials and tap Sign In.

Activate using a license key

To locate your a license key, see Find my Malwarebytes license key.

1. Open the Malwarebytes app on your Chromebook device.
2. In the upper-left corner of your screen, tap the Menu  icon.
3. Tap Premium features.
4. Tap Already have a subscription at the bottom of the screen.
5. Tap I have a license key.
6. Enter you license key.
7. Tap Activate.
8. After you activate your license, Malwarebytes shows Your Premium account is active! and the Premium features are turned on automatically.
