Notification pop-up in Desktop Security for macOS

Desktop Security uses notifications to alert you if any threats have been detected on your device. The Trusted Advisor feature also sends notifications if you have security issues that need to be resolved, such as updating your operating system or turning on Real-Time Protection features.

When opening the app on your macOS device, a notification screen asks you to allow notifications from Malwarebytes in your Mac settings. These notifications will appear on your device's screen whenever you need to be alerted. Follow the directions on the screen to enable notifications for Desktop Security.

Note: The notification screen will appear each time the app is opened until notifications are allowed.
