Pause the VPN on Windows devices

Sometimes, certain websites will block your access when you're using a VPN. If you're having trouble accessing a website you can normally visit without any issues, pause your VPN and try accessing the site again. 

Note: You can't pause the VPN if the Kill Switch setting is on. For more info about the Kill Switch setting, see Manage VPN settings in Desktop Security.

To pause the VPN:

1. Navigate to the taskbar at the bottom of your Windows screen.
2. Click the ^ arrow on the right side of the bar to show hidden icons.
3. Right-click the Malwarebytes security icon.
4. In the dropdown, select Pause VPN.
5. Choose how long you want to pause the VPN.

After you've paused the VPN, try accessing the blocked website again.
