Manage Mobile Security VPN settings on iOS devices

Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) keep your personal information secure by encrypting the traffic carrying your information from you to websites or apps connected to the internet. If you have a paid VPN subscription, you can customize VPN settings on your iOS devices to ensure your traffic is encrypted when you access the internet. 

Secure iOS device with VPN Auto Connect

The VPN Auto Connect setting ensures your device uses a private, encrypted internet connection. This feature attempts to reconnect to the VPN whenever the connection is lost, such as after a reboot, allowing you to use the internet safely.

1. On the Mobile Security dashboard, turn VPN On. 
2. Tap Settings > General.
3. Switch on the VPN Auto Connect toggle.

Trust local devices on iOS device

Trusted local devices are things like printers, mobile devices, or other computers connected to your network. This setting allows access to local, trusted devices when the VPN is on. The VPN Auto Connect setting must be enabled to turn on Trust local devices.

1. On the Mobile Security dashboard, turn VPN On. 
2. Tap Settings  > General.
3. Toggle on VPN Auto Connect.
4. Toggle on Trust local devices.
