Activate your subscription with an MB Code

To share your subscription with another device, like a family member's phone or laptop, you can generate an MB code. After you generate a code, input that code in the app on the other device to activate it. To generate an MB code, all you need is an account and available devices in your subscription. Before you generate your MB code, make sure you have the app you want to use already installed on the device. 

Generate MB Code via your account

1. Sign in to your account.
2. In the left side bar, click Manage Subscription.
3. On your subscription card, click Activate device.
4. In the pop up, click Activate another device.
5. Select the type of advice you would like to activate.
6. If you still need to install the app, copy and share the download link to your other device.
7. Click Generate MB Code.
   • Codes are valid for 90 seconds and can only be used once. If your code expires, tap Generate new code.

Activate subscription on new device with MB Code

1. Open the app on your other device.
2. On Windows and macOS devices, click Activate subscription. On Android and iOS devices, tap Settings  > My Subscriptions, then tap Already have a subscription.
3. Tap or click I have a license Key or MB code or Enter license key (macOS).
4. In the MB code field, enter the code generated. Make sure to enter capital letters and numbers correctly.
5. Tap Activate.
6. Once activation is complete, the My Subscriptions screen displays your subscription type and expiration date.
