The My Subscriptions screen in Mobile Security version 5 allows you to view and manage your subscription and user account settings.
If you've purchased a subscription, you can:
- Manage purchase made in the app
- Create an account
- Link purchase made in the app to account
- Delete your account
- Remove device from subscription
- Cancel subscription
Manage purchase made in the app
If you purchased your subscription in the app, you can manage your subscription in the Mobile Security app.
- On the Mobile Security Dashboard, tap Settings
> My Subscriptions.
- Tap Manage Subscription. Your device's app store page opens with available subscription update options.
- Select the action you want to perform, then follow the prompts to complete the action.

Create an account
We encourage you to create a Malwarebytes account to manage your Mobile Security subscription in-app or by logging into the My Account portal.
- On the Mobile Security Dashboard, tap Settings
> My Subscriptions.
- Tap Create an account.
- Enter your first and last names, and your email address into the fields.
- Enter your chosen password. Your password must contain at least 8 characters, 1 Capital letter, 1 number, and 1 symbol e.g !@#&%.
- Re-enter your password.
- Tap Create account.
Link purchase made in the app to account
If you purchased your subscription in the app, you can sign in to My Account to link the purchase to your profile. Once your purchase is linked to your account, you can activate your subscription on other devices, and manage activated devices through the My Account portal.
- On the Mobile Security Dashboard, tap Settings
> My Subscriptions.
- Tap Sign in, under the Create an account button.
- Enter your My Account login email and password.
- Tap Sign in.
Delete your account
This option is available on iOS devices.
Deleting your My Account profile does not impact your subscription but it does take away the ability to activate other iOS devices via My Account portal.
- On the Mobile Security Dashboard, tap Settings
> My Subscriptions.
- Under Delete account, tap Delete Malwarebytes account.
- Enter your My Account password.
- Tap Delete account.
Remove device from subscription
Deactivating a device removes the device from your subscription and reverts the Mobile Security app to the Free version. Deactivate your device when you want to transfer your subscription to a different device, or you want to disable the paid features. To deactivate a device using the Mobile Security app:
- On the Mobile Security Dashboard, tap Settings
> My Subscriptions.
- Under Deactivate your device, tap Deactivate this device.
- In the confirmation screen, tap Deactivate.
Cancel subscription
If you purchased a Malwarebytes subscription and no longer wish to keep it, you may want to cancel your subscription:
- Cancel an in-app purchase made from the Google Play Store.
- Cancel an in-app purchase made from Apple App Store.
- Cancel subscription purchased made from the Malwarebytes Online Store.
