After upgrading to macOS Ventura 13, Malwarebytes Real-Time Protection is disabled, due to Full Disk Access (FDA) permissions being impacted. This article explains how to re-enable Real-Time Protection.
Malwarebytes for Mac version 4.16 and earlier do not officially support macOS Ventura 13.
Symptoms
Real-Time protection is turned off and a prompt requesting full disk access permissions in the program window is displayed.
Cause
Apple has identified known issue 100857507 with macOS Ventura 13.
Applications using Endpoint Security extensions might lose Full Disk Access authorization, impacting their ability to function. This issue does not affect MDM-enabled extensions. For more information, see macOS Ventura 13.1 Beta Release Notes.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, update to macOS Ventura 13.1 or higher.
