Enable Context Menu for Managed Clients

When trying to scan an object by right-clicking on the file, the option to scan does not appear for Malwarebytes Endpoint Security managed clients.


Cause of issue

Context Menu is disabled by the policy the endpoint is using.


Enable Context Menu through the Management Console

  1. Open up the Management Console.

  2. Click on Policy.

  3. Find the policy assigned to the endpoint and Edit.

  4. Click on the General tab.

  5. Enable Create right click context menu.

  6. Confirm endpoint received the updated policy.
