Malwarebytes protection is delivered to you as an installable client agent.  Each agent serves a different purpose, and must be configured to provide proper functionality.  The two agents are:

  • Incident Response
  • Endpoint Protection

Incident ResponseEndpoint Protection

On-demand scans

Scans areas of your endpoints malware usually resides at your command.

Scheduled scans

Automatically scans your endpoints based on the schedule you've specified.

Quarantine

Isolates detected threats for later remediation.

Asset management

See what software your endpoints have installed.

Real-time Protection

Shield your endpoints from malware, exploits, ransomware, and malicious websites in real-time.

 

 

If you have subscribed to Endpoint Protection, note the following:

  • Turning on Endpoint Protection automatically turns Incident Response off.
  • Turning off Endpoint Protection then turning on Incident Response, may require a reboot of affected endpoints.
