How do I collect information on a false positive?

Since Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit (MBAE) does not use definitions there is very little when it comes to false positives. However, if you do experience a false positive these are the steps to use to collect the information to send to us.

  1. Collect the MBAE logs.
  2. Save the files you believe are a false positive to a .zip folder.
  3. Submit the .zip folder to VirusTotal.
  4. Submit the MBAE logs and the VirusTotal results to Malwarebytes Support.
