How do I scan a specific file, folder, drive, or group of files with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Business?

To scan a specific file, folder, drive, or group of files with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Business, you must have the Right-Click Context Menu option enabled. This is enabled by default when the software is installed. If it is not enabled, you can enable it by following these steps:

  1. Launch Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Business
  2. Click the Settings tab
  3. Click the General Settings sub-tab
  4. Check the Create right click context menu box

 

Once enabled, right-click a file or folder (or group of files), and choose the 'Scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware' option. Once the scan is done, typically very quickly, the results will appear as they do in normal scans.
