Is this your first renewal?

If this is your first renewal with Malwarebytes directly, simply follow the prompts from the program once it lets you know that it is time for renewal. For physical retail copies, renewing early will add the time remaining to your subscription. Please note you will still need to renew through the program. Next time, you can simply follow the instructions below.

It is not my first renewal or I purchased directly from Malwarebytes

Generally, customers cannot renew early. If you have purchased your subscription directly from Malwarebytes or are renewing again, then you are either on automatic renewal or you will receive an email with further instructions as your renewal date approaches.

Please note that reinstating your account is not the same as renewal, as indicated in an email that will be sent to you if you reinstate:

“Your subscription for 'Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium' has been reinstated. When the next payment for this subscription is due, you will receive an email containing detailed payment information."

It is important to note that sometimes the renewal can take about 24 hours to process on the date of renewal and communicate with the program. During this period, the program may show you that the subscription is expired. Do not worry; you will stay protected for this period. If after 24 hours, your program is still showing as expired, please try launching the program and clicking on “My Account” in the top right hand corner of the program window. If this does not solve the issue, please contact us.
